AL East Breakdown by cebola

I'll have complete updates coming shortly, but let's get to the most exciting race as we head into the final 10 games of the season; for the AL East Division Crown...

Toledo sits one game back of Jacksonville with 10 left to play. Both teams have a tough opponent for the next four games (Portland and Jackson). Jacksonville will then face Trenton, who is very much still alive at 3 games back, and will be giving them all they've got.

Trenton has a more favorable opponent in the next series in Wichita, who is close to being eliminated from wildcard consideration. But the Thunder needs to leapfrog two teams to get in. They'll have to get and stay hot the rest of the way to stand a chance.

Toledo plays Syracuse in it's second to last series before setting up what's sure to be an exciting final three games against Jacksonville. The division could surely be up for grabs between these two teams by then.

The good news for Jacksonville is that in the first two tie-breakers, they currently hold a 5-2 head-to-head record against Toledo, and a 15-9 division record. Toledo's division record is 11-13. This means that Toledo will most likely have to win the division outright, Jacksonville most likely wins a tie.

Good luck all!
